A weekend of discussion with some serious action on the streets leading to a banging finale on the Monday. Join and stay as long as you're able.  



The focus of Love & Rage is 'Security' which includes the impacts of water, food, energy and heat on our safety.

The National Security Assessment (NSA) highlights serious threats to UK Security: biodiversity loss, flooding, drought, food shortages, extreme heat and mass displacement of people.<br>These are a danger to us all. But the **full NSA has been hidden, redacted!**<br>Our demands:

- Government must <b>Tell the Truth</b> by issuing and publicising the full, unredacted NSA.
  
- Government must hold a UK wide briefing on the Climate and Nature Risks.

- <b>Act Now</b> to mitigate against the serious threats to UK security




   

To build the world we want and need, to build a path for the survival of all life and for all generations to come, it’s clear society must have a common understanding of the facts. And we are going to insist upon it.

# A Hot Weekend : Sat 12 & Sun 13 Sept

#### Two days of conversation, community and creativity

On the weekend of 12th-13th September (venue TBA) we will have two days of conversation, outreach, creative thinking and practical preparation for our <b>DAY OF ACTION on Monday 14th September.</b> Including:

- a must-not-miss Assembly and extended remote deliberation for the month beyond
- music and performances
- NVDA workshops
- a creative space to prepare for Monday's finale

#### Call out for speakers, trainers and session ideas

We need your skills and ideas to help make Extinction Rebellion UK Love & Rage in London a success.

The overarching theme for the Love and Rage weekend is 'Security' which includes the impacts of water, food, energy and heat on our security.

Talks, training, workshops, panel discussions and a Community Assembly are taking place on Sat 12 & Sun 13 Sept.

You probably know about the National Emergency Briefing (NEB) but have you read the **National Security Assessment (NSA)**? Covering the security risks to the UK associated with biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse, this severely abridged version of the document was published by the government in January this year, only after a Freedom of Information request.

The NSA highlights serious threats to UK Security, including biodiversity loss, flooding, drought, food shortages, extreme heat, mass migration and all the other profound affects of climate change. These events are a danger to us all - we are all in the same soup and it's coming to the boil!
  
This September we mobilise! Calling for rebels old and new to re-engage with our natural allies and reach out to the public at large to join us in our demands. We must **Decide Together** how best to approach our first two demands.

# Love, Rage and ACTION : Mon 14 Sept

**On Monday 14th we take to the streets**. The Government know that climate breakdown is here, yet where is their plan? How do they intend to secure a liveable future for the British people?

Together we will shout from the rooftops with Love for the Earth, for Life itself. 

We Rage against those who still deny the science and delay the change that’s so desperately needed. 
Rage! Yes and rightly so, because Government, the security services, the media all know that climate breakdown is happening - yet where is their plan? A plan to secure a liveable future for the British people? The full National Security Assessment has been hidden - redacted. So, to build the world we want and need, to build a path for our children’s survival, it’s clear society must have a common understanding of the facts.
And we are going to insist upon it.

<strong>There will be noise. There will be love and it will be for EVERYONE.</strong><br>

It's going to be a long hot weekend leading to a banging finale on Monday 14th September!<br>
