#### Community Assembly on Saturday... and beyond the weekend!
A must-not-miss, in-person Community Assembly, Saturday 12th September 2-5pm where we will all discuss the question:

**“How might we restore our failing water systems to secure a long-term future for all people, life and habitats?”**

Water touches everything, including our very security... Everyone has a particular perspective from pollution to poverty... It's all connected. Our speakers to help inform discussions will be announced very soon. (We are very excited!)

##### Post-assembly
To maintain and build momentum after Love & Rage, this Autumn we’ll be using the power of '[Polis](https://rebeltoolkit.extinctionrebellion.uk/books/guide-to-polis)', an amazing participatory and inclusive tool that can help bring about system change.

Polis will allow for a wider, online discussion; it will be open for a month, between **Monday 19th October - Thursday 19th November**.

Please look out for our promotional campaign to share with your networks in the coming weeks to bring thousands into this conversation.

#### Volunteer
Details of roles for the weekend activies can be found on the dedicated **[volunteering page here](https://rebeltoolkit.extinctionrebellion.uk/books/love-and-rage/page/volunteer#bkmrk-page-title)**.

<!--#### Why should I join on Saturday and Sunday?

You probably know about the National Emergency Briefing (NEB) but have you read the **National Security Assessment (NSA)**? Covering the security risks to the UK associated with biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse, this severely abridged version of the document was published by the government in January this year, only after a Freedom of Information request.

The NSA highlights serious threats to UK Security, including biodiversity loss, flooding, drought, food shortages, extreme heat, mass migration and all the other profound affects of climate change. These events are a danger to us all - we are all in the same soup and it's coming to the boil!

This September we mobilise! Calling for rebels old and new to re-engage with our natural allies and reach out to the public at large to join us in our demands. These are that the government **Tell the Truth** by issuing and publicising the full, unredacted NSA and to **Act Now** to mitigate against the serious threats to UK security reported within. We must **Decide Together** how best to approach our first two demands.
