Funding

There is funding available for holding Community Assemblies!

Funds can be used for hall hire, food, outreach, interpreters, creche and admin. You can claim funds in advance or retrospectively.

Receipts will need to be provided. There are a couple of conditions:

  • Your community assembly must be held by 17th January 2024

  • A rough breakdown of your costs

We need some feedback about the event you held, including:

  • Rough number of participants
  • What was the topic?
  • Links to at least two press articles
  • Did any local MPs or other notables attend

Here is a feeback form for you to fill in and let us know about your assembly.

You can request funding directly using the Payment Request Form . Make sure that you enter "Community Assembly" for the question "Which Team or Project is this for?"

It would be helpful if you can email communityassemblies@extinctionrebellion.uk when you submit a payment request to let us know.
