Governmental and Local Elections
Extinction Rebellion as a movement is non-party policital, often using the phrase 'Beyond Politics' to describe our position due to our 3rd demand to upgrade democracy and promote the use of Citizens' Assemblies.
BUT... we are still currently living within the first-past the post party political system and often we need to engage with that, especially in the run up to UK general elections.
While being mindful of not using up too much of our energy and capacity engaging with corrupt and failing systems of governance, there are some in-house and sister organisations working in this area with resources available for you to use.
There are certain times where it might be useful to get more involved in political issues.
