Campsite
This campsite’s purpose is to allow people coming from afar a safe space where to regenerate. This camping community is a place to connect and strengthen, creating a culture that is healthy, resilient, and adaptable. We are a non-violent group, and we welcome everyone without blaming and shaming.
Please remember that you and others around you on the campsite should take some responsibility for its operations. A lot of effort has been put into making it a regenerative space (for as long as possible) where rebels can spend time during the Rebellion. Everyone needs to contribute by volunteering as a Campsite Guardian and/or Facilitator of various functions. Please sign up to take a shift letting the Campsite Guardians at the Welcome Station know and they will help allocating a shift according to your needs and those of the campsite. Thank you for your cooperation.
All Rebels are asked to follow our rebel agreement which provides a basis for trust and respect. Also read our principles and values which guide the regenerative culture of XR.
Suggested kit-list:
- Tent - recommend taking a bigger one than you need to allow space to store stuff.
- Sleeping bag - September nights likely to get cold - recommend a 2-season minimum.
- Roll mat
