International Wave of Action

8th-22nd September – a coordinated wave of actions will sweep around the globe, targeting insurers enabling fossil fuels and war.

Across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia, we’re twinning groups from the Global North and the Global South to build solidarity and amplify frontline voices.

UK Actions

These are openly organised actions for any Rebel to attend. More may be added and there may be more happening 🤫

London 8 & 9 Sept
  • Time: Join us from 08:00 onwards for a full day of action. NOTE: the underground is on strike these days, so plan ahead (latest from TfL here)

STRIKE A BLOW FOR PALESTINE & PLANET

Part of 2 weeks of international actions targeting AIG & AXA.

2 top insurers, quietly enabling colonial capitalism's crimes against humanity & all life on Earth.

We want their customers & staff to know what they're up. We want AIG & AXA to stop this shit.

From EACOP & B.P. to arms used in Gaza, war crimes to extreme weather, these targets unite all justice movements.

📍 Meet: 12pm John Rylands library M3 3EH, along the side of the historic building. ⏰ Time: 12pm - 2pm. End time approx.

👜 Bring:

  • Yourselves, friends & allies.
  • banners, flags, signs, representing Palestine, genocide & climate crisis.
  • Key messaging: 'Stop Insuring Genocide', 'Stop Insuring Climate Chaos', 'Boycott genocide/climate breakdown insurers'
  • a stool if you need to sit.
  • appropriate clothing ☀️☔️
  • there will be periods of drumming so noise cancelling headphones if necc.
  • good vibes and nonviolent mindset 💚
