Funding

NOTE: Information on this page only applies to assemblies that happened on or before 17th January 2024, and are therefore eligible for funding from the Climate Emergency Fund (CEF). If your assemblies happened after that date, or is happening in the future, check out the General Fundraising Guidance.

If your assembly happened before the cut off date, you can still claim CEF monies retrospectively, so long as your assembly happened before the cut off date.

CEF were granted for:

  • hall hire (Don't cut corners on accessibility and space!)
  • food
  • outreach -interpreters (BSL or translation services)
  • creche
  • admin.

CEF conditions:

  • Your community assembly must have been held by 17th January 2024
  • A rough breakdown of your costs must be provided
  • Receipts (copies of) will need to be provided.

Please send obligatory feedback about your event via our feedback form (link below) for:

  • Rough number of participants
  • What was your discussion topic?
  • Links to at least two publications as proof of holding your assembly
  • Did any local MPs or other notables attend?

Tell us about your assembly via ourFeedback Form. This supports our CEF claim, but let's share and celebrate our achievements too.

You can request funding directly, using the Payment Request Form. Make sure that you enter "Community Assembly" for the question "Which Team or Project is this for?"

Please email communityassemblies@extinctionrebellion.uk when you submit a payment request to let us know about your claim.
